WinSport Canada Olympic Park was one of the key venues for the 1988 Winter Olympics. These days, the recreational destination of the western edge of Calgary offers year-round fun. Winter brings skiing and snowboarding. With two high-speed chairlifts, WinSport offers downhill thrills without the drive to the mountains. It also occasionally offers eye-popping competitions for world-class athletes. A large day lodge is the perfect place to grab lunch or warm up with a coffee. Stop by the Servus Tube Park for another fun way to ride the slopes. In summer, WinSport is a popular destination for mountain biking. For a more leisurely activity, hit the mini-golf course or check out the Canada Sports Hall of Fame. The arena is also still open for skating if you want a dose of winter.
