Heritage Park Historical Village in Calgary brings Western Canadian history to life through 200-plus exhibits and attractions for all ages. Ride an antique steam train, set sail on a paddlewheel ship and wander through a bustling prairie town with a candy shop and ice cream parlour. Visitors can meet farm animals and learn about Blackfoot culture, while a vintage amusement park adds old-fashioned fun to the day. Prospect Ridge explores the past, present and future of Western Canada’s oil and gas industry. Gasoline Alley Museum houses one of the world’s largest collections of antique vehicles, along with vintage gas pumps and related memorabilia. The Historical Village is open daily from late May to early September, while Gasoline Alley Museum welcomes visitors year-round.
