Maligne Lake is a highlight of any trip to Jasper National Park, and there's no better way to experience the expansive waters than a Maligne Lake Cruise. Guests travel in style on boats that offer covered seating and an open-air rear deck. Two cruise options are available — the Classic Cruise or the longer Premium Cruise — but both dock at the world-famous Spirit Island. Guests can get out here and enjoy the nature trail and incredible views overlooking one of the island’s most beautiful spots. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way. Tour guides also offer tales of the lake and highlight its geology, flora and fauna. You’ll also learn about Spirit Island’s early explorers and its significance to Indigenous Peoples of the area.
