GP Brewing Company

The story of GP Brewing Company began at the Whisky Fest in Victoria BC in 2012. It was here that friends Matt Toni and Derek Moe found their inspiration. After sampling whiskies from around the world, the group thought they might try their hand at distilling. They returned home to Grande Prairie with an idea and blind passion. After a few test batches of clear whisky, they realized what they wanted to do was brew beer. Setting up shop in the heart of Grande Prairie, they forged partnerships with local barley farmers throughout the Peace Country area. They use only locally sourced natural spring water. They do not pasteurize or use any preservatives in their beers. Growing, harvesting, and processing their own malts ensures every small-batch brew is the freshest it can be.
