Get a bird’s-eye view of the Rocky Mountains without all the effort of flapping your wings. The Lake Louise Gondola offers sightseers some sights they won’t soon forget. From the base of the ski resort, the gondola takes you to an elevation of 2,088 m (6,850 ft). A nearby viewing platform lets you kick back, relax and take in the views down the valley to the lake. Don’t be surprised if you also spy a grizzly bear, lynx, moose, mountain goat or some of the other wildlife that frequent the area. A variety of interpretive walks are also available for all fitness levels. Ride-and-dine packages for those who want to grab breakfast or lunch before or after the effortless ascent. The gondola also offers packages that include a shuttle ride to Lake Louise or Moraine Lake for those who want to see more of the area.
